Diderot String Quartet came together in 2012 after having first met at Oberlin Conservatory and The Juilliard School. The four share a background in historical performance and a passion for exploring repertoire on period instruments, and with those tools bring a fresh approach to both familiar and lesser-known works of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
The currently reside in New York City and Chicago.
